Commercial

Commercial Countertops & Bar Tops

Counters, bar tops and surfaces for buildings that see hundreds of hands a day — selected for the traffic, fabricated to the space, and installed with the rest of the job in mind.

Cut, shaped & set by us

If it’s a surface, we build it.

Every piece is measured, cut, and finished in our own shop, then installed by the same hands that made it. No passing your project down the line — what we promise is what shows up.

  • Kitchen countertops & islands
  • Bathroom vanity tops & showers
  • Fireplace surrounds & hearths
  • Outdoor kitchens & dining areas
  • Any size, any shape

Where we work

Built for daily traffic.

Commercial surfaces fail for predictable reasons: the wrong material for the cleaning regime, seams in the wrong place, or a detail nobody specified. We start with the room and how it gets used.

Lobbies & reception

The first surface a visitor touches sets the tone for the whole building. We help you choose a material that photographs well and stands up to constant use.

Conference & boardroom tables

Large-format tops with the edges, thickness, and support details planned in before a single slab is cut.

Breakout kitchens & café counters

Counters, islands, and service lines that take daily traffic, spills, and cleaning schedules in stride.

Bar tops, hospitality & retail

Bar tops, service counters, and display surfaces where seams, edges, and material character all need to read deliberately.

Workplaces & offices

Desk returns, credenzas, and shared surfaces specified with the same care as a residential kitchen.

Bathrooms & common areas

Vanity tops and wall surfaces chosen for cleanability, consistent tone, and long-term availability.

What we coordinate

Four things we get right before the slab arrives.

A commercial surface project lives or dies on coordination. This is where we put the attention.

01

Material suited to the traffic

We talk through how the space is actually used — cleaning products, spill exposure, and wear — and match the material to that reality rather than to a brochure.

02

Measured, not assumed

Existing conditions get templated so the fabricated pieces arrive ready to set, even in older buildings where nothing runs plumb.

03

Sequenced around your schedule

Delivery and installation are planned around other trades on site, so your surface is not the thing holding up a handover.

04

Documented for the future

Material, color, and finish details are recorded with the project, which matters when a space is expanded or repaired years down the road.

Material by material

What each surface is — and where it earns its keep.

Every material we carry has a commercial sweet spot. This is the honest rundown we give clients deciding where to spend and where to save.

Solid Surface

Corian & Wilsonart

Solid surface is a man-made material — natural mineral filler blended with acrylic resin — produced as uniform sheets in a huge palette of colors. Unlike natural stone, it is completely consistent from sheet to sheet, so a reception desk fabricated today will match a matching credenza fabricated next year.

Its defining trait is that it’s non-porous: nothing soaks in. Liquids, bacteria, mold, and stains stay on the surface where they can be wiped away with ordinary cleaners. Seams are bonded so they disappear, sinks and backsplashes fuse into the same continuous piece, and the material can even be thermoformed into curves. And if it ever chips or scratches, it can be sanded and repaired on site — the counter is renewed, not replaced.

That combination — hygienic, seamless, easy to disinfect daily, and repairable — is exactly why hospitals, laboratories, and dental offices build their work surfaces from it. In food service it means a prep counter with no crevice for anything to hide in.

Commonly specified for: laboratory and medical work surfaces, healthcare and cafeteria counters, restaurant prep and service lines, reception desks, integrated-sink restrooms, shower and wall panels.

Quartz

Element · MSI · Spectrum

Quartz surfacing is engineered stone: overwhelmingly real crushed quartz bound together with resin and pigment. You get the weight and look of stone with none of natural stone’s unpredictability — and a color range that runs from near-solid whites to dramatic marble-style veining.

Because it’s manufactured, its color and pattern stay consistent from slab to slab, which matters when a project needs many matching pieces across one space — a row of bar tops, a wall of vanities, a chain of locations that all have to look the same. It never needs sealing, it’s non-porous, and it shrugs off scratches, coffee, wine, and daily cleaning chemicals with a simple wipe-down routine.

One honest caveat we give every commercial client: quartz doesn’t love sustained high heat, so hot pans belong on trivets. Where that’s understood, it’s the default for spaces that want the stone look with practically no maintenance.

Commonly specified for: restaurant bars and tables, café counters, office break rooms and pantries, retail displays and checkout counters, restroom vanities, multi-unit matching installations.

Granite

Natural stone

Granite is quarried straight from the earth — an extremely hard igneous stone that has already survived millions of years underground. Every slab is one of a kind, with mineral depth, movement, and sparkle that no manufacturing process can imitate.

For commercial work, its calling cards are heat and toughness: granite takes hot pans and busy service conditions that would trouble other surfaces, and with periodic sealing it holds up for decades of hard use. It’s also naturally slip-friendly in honed finishes and handles outdoor exposure, which is why it shows up on outdoor serving counters and bar tops that live in the weather.

It’s the choice where toughness leads the spec list and the design benefits from real stone’s one-of-a-kind character.

Commonly specified for: bar tops, restaurant dining tables and service counters, outdoor kitchens and serving areas, high-traffic food prep, building lobbies.

Marble

Natural stone

Marble is nature’s luxury surface — limestone transformed over geological time into a stone with a luminous, light-reflecting depth and soft veining that reads instantly as high-end. No engineered material quite reproduces it, which is why marble remains the signature choice for statement rooms.

It has practical virtues too: marble stays naturally cool to the touch — bakers and pastry chefs have prized it as a work surface for centuries — and it takes fine detail in edges and profiles better than most stones. It is a metamorphic stone with real elegance in reception areas where clients want the surface itself to be part of the brand.

It asks for more care in commercial settings — etching and a developing patina come with the territory — so we steer clients toward it where the impression justifies the upkeep, and away from it where a spill-prone, high-abuse counter would fight the material. Chosen for the right room, it ages beautifully.

Commonly specified for: hotel lobbies and reception areas, boutique retail and salon counters, pastry and dessert stations, conference and feature tables, fireplace surrounds.
